Jessica Tinsley serves as the Color Guard Director for Broken Arrow High School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Ms. Tinsley has an extensive background in the marching arts, beginning as a performer with Broken Arrow High School, following with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, and USF Winter Guard.

She followed her passion to teach in the arts serving as the Color Guard Director at Sunlake High School, earning a WGI Scholastic A silver medal in 2019, and a WGI Scholastic Open bronze medal in 2022, working on staff with USF Winterguard, as well as working with Legends Drum and Bugle Corps, Newsome High School, and Bentonville High School. In addition to directing and instructing, Ms. Tinsley choreographs for numerous color guard and percussion ensembles in the country, bringing a creative and innovative approach to design. She enjoys teaching and choreographing for spin clinics and leadership camps across the country. 

A dedicated mentor and leader, Ms. Tinsley has been part of the FFCC Mentor Program and Advisory Board since their inaugural season, contributing significantly to the growth and development of the organization and its members.

As the director of the Color Guard program for The Pride of Broken Arrow, Jessica is most excited to revive the Winter Guard program and create more performance opportunities for her high school students, as well as create the first Middle School Color Guard program at Broken Arrow High School fostering the love of the arts at a younger level.
