Kyle Hamrick

Mr. Kyle Hamrick has been a band director in Broken Arrow since 2023. Prior to joining the band staff at Broken Arrow, he received a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Hamrick is the conductor of the Broken Arrow HS Symphonic Band 2, Assistant Director of the Pride of Broken Arrow Marching Band, and instructor of AP Music Theory. 

Mr. Hamrick’s ensembles have received OSSAA Sweepstakes Awards for excellence both in concert and marching band. During his time at Broken Arrow, he has taught beginner brass classes, intermediate bands, and advanced bands district-wide. He has also spent time at the Freshman Academy, where he conducted the BAFA Symphonic Band.

Mr. Hamrick is deeply involved in the DCI activity, where he currently serves on the brass staff for the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps. Prior to his involvement with SCV, he worked with the brass team at the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps from 2020 to 2023. Mr. Hamrick was also a member of the Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps from 2016 to 2019.
